Platform 2 is Railway House’s largest apartment, arranged across the ground and lower-ground floors. Close to York station and the city centre, it is ideal for families, friends and business groups seeking generous living space and distinctive interiors inspired by York’s railway heritage.

The space
Each of the three bedrooms has a king-size bed and its own ensuite bathroom. Two bedrooms also feature freestanding bathtubs, including an impressive copper bath. The apartment has a spacious living area and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, induction hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and washer/dryer, plus dining space for six guests. The Smart TV is available for guests to use with their own streaming-app accounts.
Guest access
Guests have private use of the apartment, free gated parking and access to the Railway House gardens. We operate self-check-in and checkout. The Railway House York team is available by email or phone if assistance is required.

Railway House is in a peaceful residential setting and is best suited to respectful leisure and business stays.
• Parties and events are not permitted.
• Quiet hours begin at 10pm.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors.
• Noise and air-quality monitoring devices are used to help protect the property and neighbouring residents.
• The lead guest must complete our secure online check-in, accept the booking terms and provide valid photographic identification before arrival.
• A refundable security deposit of £250 is required.
• Stays longer than 10 nights require weekly housekeeping at £131 per week.
• Early check-in and late checkout must be agreed in advance. Where not authorised, a charge of £20 per half-hour may apply.
• Travel cots and highchairs are available on request, subject to availability, for £10 per item per stay.
